Ceip Pintor Joan Mirö sing for the climate and encourage you to join for the global climate strike whose leader Greta Thunberg -a Swedish school girl, climate activist- lashed out at world leaders at UN last September 23rd.
Last May 13th, Monday, the Grade 6st went to the old town, around Palma’s Cathedral, to interview to the tourists.
Before we go to the city center, we wrote interesting questions to ask to the tourists and we practised with Azur, our dear language assistant, who pretended to be a visitant from The Philippines.
Emi, Azur and two university practicum, Neus and Rafa came with us. The day was sunny but windy and most of the tourists we interviewed were very friendly and even impressed with our ability to interview. We were happy to see Raquel, our teacher of English when we were 7 and 8 years old.
Last friday, we -students of 6th Grade- interviewed Vicent, Montse, Silvia (teachers of the school) and Yohanna (student of 1st of ESO). Previously, we had been writing the questions in small groups.
We learnt a lot of things about them, for example Silvia has visited lots of countries, Vicent is from Valencia, Yohanna has been living in Germany and Montse doesn't like sports.
Now we are ready to go out, to the old town and interview tourists who are visiting Palma. Follow us and you will see how much fun we have!
Today we present us a video from the 6th graders! They are the oldest students in the school and they have learned the past simple tense by talking about their own past.
